Most people have either read the book already, possibly as part of their English literature syllabus, or seen the film. It has the elements that I enjoy in a story: a quest, the journey, plus the bravery, belief and inability to accept defeat. It has captivated and moved me for over three decades and I do not believe this will change for what I hope will be a further three. Watership Down is a book which will always hold a special place in my heart. Fiver's vision finally leads them to Watership Down, but here they face their most difficult challenge of all. And so begins a long and perilous journey of a small band of rabbits in search of a safe home.
